It is a special honor for my brother and me to continue the family tradition and lead the company into the future. A lot has changed over the past decades: Markets, technologies, expectations and challenges. But one thing has remained the same – our aspiration to always give our best. For our customers, for our company and for each other. We know that: ALTEX’s success is the result of joint strength. Only with a committed team can a company survive and grow over so many years.
We would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all our employees, partners and companions who have made ALTEX what it is today.

ALTEX celebrates its 50th anniversary! On this special occasion, we cordially invite you to look back with us on 50 years of company history.
ALTEX Management
In 2019, Dania and Nico Stienemann, children of Bernhard Stienemann, took over the management of the company. Dania Stienemann acts as Managing Director, while Nico Stienemann is responsible for operations management.
ALTEX today
Today, decades of experience meet state-of-the-art technology at the Gronau site. With currently over 100 dedicated employees, we produce around 10,000 tons of needled nonwovens every year. This corresponds to an area of over 4,000 soccer fields.
Our strengths lie in state-of-the-art production facilities, an optimally coordinated use of raw materials and in our team. With decades of experience, technical understanding and a spirit of innovation, we set new standards in quality and efficiency day after day.
This makes ALTEX a modern, reliable partner for the automotive industry, the geotextile sector, home, Oekotech and many other industrial applications.
More than half of our products find their way to markets all over the world – a strong sign of quality, innovative strength and trust “Made in Gronau”.
